Christmas Card Challenge week 26

Hello.......

Today sees the start of a new challenge at the Christmas Card Challenge, and this week we have another anything goes.  We had some gorgeous entries for last week challenge so can not wait to see what you all create this week.

I used an embossalicious folder for my background and die cut with a stitched rectangle die.

The cheeky little robin is from Merry Little Christmas set by Clearly Besotted, and coloured with polychromos pencils.  To create the branch I used part of a decorative strip die from Sizziz  which I have had for ages and forgot about!! I added some cosmic shimmer white glue to create snow.

The sentiment is from Digi Stamp boutique.

Moving along with the times

Morning ......

It is time for another a new challenge over at Moving along with the times, and this week it is the lovley Mrs Duck's turn to choose the challenge and she would love to see some texture, dry or heat embossing or paste.

This is the card that I have created, and as it is nearly fathers day I thought I would make a male card for a change.

I have created the background with some colour core card and dry embossed using a Couture Creations embossing folder, the image and the sentiment are from a stamp set that i had free with a magazine ages ago.  I made the card base from some Buff card from Papermill direct and also used for matting.

Creative moments inside and out

Good morning and welcome to a new challenge at Creative Moments.

The challenge this time is inside out, and we would like to see you both outside and inside of your cards.

For my card I have used Deirderys Day Off from Dr Digi and you can find the image HERE, when I saw this image i knew what card I was going to create with it, and she just look sooooo relaxed lying on her sunbed with a cool drink, (i wish!!!). 

I have used Polychromo pencils to colour the image and used the out of the box technique to die cut with a stirched rectangle. I have added some wink of stella to the glass and jug but it is not showing to well.

The papers are some that I have had for ages and are 12 x 12 Bo Bunny from Barefoot and bliss, I thought the yellow and blue would help create a little beach scene. I used some peel off letters from the same papers for the Relax, and the sun is from a lil inkers die.

The sentiment is computer generated and printed onto a stitched fish tail die cut.

I have also decorated the inside using the same papers and added a die cut rectangle to match,

Christmas Card Challenge 25

Hello and welcome to a new challenge over at Christmas Card Challenges.

This week we have an anything goes challenge.

For my DT card I have used a stamp from the Lovely as a Tree set by Stampin Up.

I used some silver ink and to add some depth to the image I stamped the back trees first and stamped first on some scrap card before stamping lightly onto my navy blue panel.

I added some glitter to the trees and white gel pen to create the stars in the sky.

The wavy border is from die namics.

the greeting is a digi from pink petticoat.

happy little stamper sketch challenge

I have another card to share today using a stamp set from Clearly Besotted, that was free in a magazine a few months ago,

I have stamped the sweets onto whisper white card, using pumpkin pie, blackberry bliss and rose red ink from Stampin Up.  The sentiment was stamped using blackberry bliss.

I made a card base from blackberry bliss card and added my panels.  I have added some clear wink of stella to some of the sweets but it doesn't show up very well in the picture.

Hello......

I have a Christmas card to share today using a Memory Box die that I have had for ages and this is the first time that I have used it!

This week the challenge at Merry Little Christmas is non evergreen tree!  I was looking through my die and found this little tree. The die is called Tree of Wonder.

I used white card stock for the tree and the little snowy hills along the bottom, and the sentiment is from a LOTV set which I stamped in blue ink and then added some clear embossing powder, 

i am entering this card into the following challenges

Sunshine

Hello.........

Last month I attended a craft class and found Stampin up! I fell in love with all the lovely craft stuff in the catalog and promptly made a very long wish list (it will take years to save for it all) and placed my first order. So you will be seeing lots more cards made using Stampin Up products.

This week the challenge over at Less is More is Sunshine.

I do not own a sunshine stamp, but do have a die namics die, so I made my own stencil by cutting the die on acetate and inking the sunshine using So Saffron and Daffodil Delight ink from stampin up, then cut the panel using a blue print die.  I designed the sentiment on the computer before printing onto my panel.

The little stars are from a die namics blue print set, and I heat embossed the card before I die cut.

The card base is Daffodil Delight from Stampin Up.

Die cuts

It is a few weeks since I created anything other than my DT cards, I seemed to have lost my mojo since being on holiday!! I also must apologize for not visiting your blogs, and I plan to do some visiting before the week end.

Onto my card, I have created this for the current challenge over at Happy Little Stamper which is 

Die  cuts/punches, I chose to use die cuts.

Firstly I created my card by dabbing some spiced marmalade and festive berries distress ink onto my craft mat, and spritzed with a bit of water, I then dropped a tiny amount of Perfect pearls into the ink, and mixed around trying not to mix the colours together to much. Then I placed my water colour card on top and pressed it into the ink.  

After it was dry I die cut Honeyblossom spring from memory box, and shaped some of the flowers to give some dimension.

I then cut a frame from some stitched rectangle dies, added some brown card and popped the frame up with some foam pads. 

I will add a sentiment at a later date, when I decide who its for,

Christmas Card Challenge 24

Hello and welcome to a new challenge over at the Christmas Card Challenge. This week we have a photo for your inspiration.  

I decided to use the colours reds, greens and dots on some of the letters for my card.

I used a penny black stamp for the Christmas wreath and used some gel pens to highlight the green foliage and the red berries. The sentiment stamp in the center is from the same Penny Black set.

I wanted to use this quote so just needed to find a lemon digi image.  I found these in the Nit Wit collection Life's a Lemon, I did go over them with promarkers and then made the sentiment in Photoshop.

Creative Moments DT card Challenge 68

Hello........

today is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Moments and for this challenge you have the options to create something for a teenager.

We are sponsored by Robyn's fetish and the winner will receive 3 digi images of their choice for the shop.

The DT were given this image to work with and I decided to create a bookmark, I thought that as some teenagers would be studying for exams at the moment this little corner book mark would be useful.

I have to confess that this is not my design, and I came across it when browsing the blog of Michelle Short The Card Grotto, Michelle added the link for the template and tutorial which you will also find  HERE

I have coloured the little book worm with promarkers and used up some scraps of paper from a doodlebug pad Sugar Shoppe, I added some pink dots for decoration, and inked the edges with distress ink.

Christmas Card Challenge 23

Hello ........

Sorry i have not posted for a while but we have been away for nearly 2 weeks and just got home today, so I am late posting my DT card for the Christmas Card Challenge.

This week the challenge is no patterned papers

I have used a digi image from All Dressed Up and coloured her with promarkers before cutting out.  The snowflake panel is from a Crafter's Companion 6 x 6 embossing folder and the sentiment is from Digi Stamp Boutique.

First I would like to welcome and say hello to my new follower Darnell- thank you for leaving such lovely comments.

I do hope you are all looking forward to the long week end, and if you are off out I hope you have a lovely time.

We are still on holiday in our little caravan until end of next week.  

We have a lovely time so far, weather as been dry with lots of sunshine so we have managed to get out with Millie on the beach, and do lots of walking, it is impossible to wear this dog out!

Here is a picture of her playing on the beach near Sutton on Sea, she will play with her ball all day!! and loves the beach.

 

I did not bring any crafting stuff with me on holiday so will not be creating any new cards this week!
