Welcome little one

I have two more cards to share using the A Little Wild stamp set from Stampin Up.  This time I have used the elephant stamp to create 2 new baby cards.

Firstly I created a pink pirouette card base, stamped the elephant and coloured with watercolour pencils before die cutting with a stitched circle die, and I cut off a little bit along one side before mounting onto the front of the card with dimensionals. I added some white thick twine and my sentiment from the same stamp set.
The second card base is in soft sky and I added a snippet of DSP before adding my elephant die cut. I again added some twine and my sentiment stamped in soft sky.

I have followed the sketch over at this weeks CAS colours & sketches challenge blog

and this weeks challenge at Addicted to stamps and more

Wild about you

When I saw that this weeks challenge over CASology was safari I knew that I would use the stamp set A little wild from Stampin up.

I made two cards to share
I stamped two images of the lions and coloured with watercolour pencils and a blender pen. I die cut one image with a stitched circle die and mounted onto a scalloped circle in Tangerine Tango card stock.  I embossed the front of my Old Olive card base added some burlap ribbon and mounted my image with dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped in Old Olive ink onto a circle of old olive card stock.

I made a card base in Old Olive, added a scalloped rectangle in Tangerine Tango topped with a stitched rectangle in whisper white.  I added a snippet of old olive DSP.  The image was fussy cut and then mounted using dimensionals.  I added some enamel shapes and a sentiment stamped in Old Olive

thanks a bunch

This month the challenge over at The Flower Challenge blog is to use flower stamps to create your background.

The Beautiful Bouquet stamp set from stampin up is ideal for this with all the different shapes and size of flowers.

I created a piece of card stock using the flower stamps using Lemon Lime Twist, Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party, Night of Navy and Bermuda Bay ink pads
I stamped some extra flowers to cut out with the co co ordinating die set.

I used a stitched rectangle die to cut my panel and added a strip of Lemon Lime Twist card stock.
The sentiment is from the stamp set and I used the layering circles and stitched shapes dies.
I added three die cut flowers to finish off.

Just Breathe

Sorry it's been a while since I posted, we are very busy at the caravan site this time of year and when we finish work in the evenings I am normally to tired to blog.
I have made this card for a friend who has lots going on in her life at the moment, I thought the sentiment was just right for her.

I started of with a piece of whisper white card and sponged my little scene using the colours in this weeks CAS Colours and Sketches challenge.
I started with the blushing bride and then the cajun craze to create the beach, I then added some tempting turquoise for the sea adding several layers to make it bold, adding a very light layer of pink for the horizon before adding a light layer of tempting turquoise for the sky.

I am also entering this into the new challenge over at AAA cards Summer fun
