Colours of the rainbow

I have been having another play with the eclectic layers dies from stampin up.

I used the large die to die cut the pattern on my stitched rectangle then cut out parts of it using snippets of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet card stock, saving all the little diamond pieces.
After adhering my rectangle to my card front I inlaid a selection of the colours back into the diamond shapes on my white panel.
I stamped the sentiment in Elegant eggplant.  I will have to make some more of these because I have lots of pieces left over.

I was inspired by the current challenges over at

as I have used snippets of coloured card I am entering this card into

I have a few days off from work after tomorrow so going to Oxford to catch up with friends that we worked with last year.  Hopefully back on Friday with another card.

Oh So Eclectic Hello

Good morning to you all.  I have a card today that showcases the gorgeous papers that co ordinate with the Oh So Eclectic stamps and dies.  I just love the colours in these papers.

I used MFT stitched edge dies then die cut the Hello from Lemon Lime Twist, added three glitter dots and all done.  Very quick and easy to make.  Think I will definitely be making more.

This weeks challenge over at Less is More is No Stamps so I am adding this card into the challenge, I am also entering into the new challenge at Paper Players which is a sketch see below

Hello

I have another card to share using the new Oh So Eclectic stamp set from Stampin Up, this time I have also used the matching die set for my flower. Working away from friends and family for 8 months I get through a lot of Hello cards when keeping in touch, so always like to have a little stock ready for use.

I have used the colours from this weeks challenge over at

I started by die cutting a stitched rectangle and then stamped in each of the three colours.  The night of navy I stamped off twice before adding it because I felt it was a little bit dark against the other lighter colours.
The flower was die cut from night of navy card stock and I mounted the panel onto a pink card base.

30th Birthday

This is the card that I made for my sons 30th Birthday recently.  When I saw this weeks challenge over at MAWTT was age as a focal point I thought this fit the bill.
I am also going to enter the challenge over at crafty cardmakers lots of layers

I created a card base in Basic Grey card stock, slightly larger than I would normally at 5 x 7 inch, then added a panel of Delightful Dijon card stock. The DSP is from Urban Underground.
I have used bits from lots of different stamp set including Layering Ovals, Number of Years for the banner, Birthday Bright for the sentiment and balloon celebration for the 2 Delightful Dijon balloons.
The numbers were die cut in black glimmer card, and I added some gold stars to decorate.
I have stamped Happy Birthday on the inside but forgot to take a picture.

To made a card base from Berry Burst card stock and die cut a white panel.  Using Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and Lemon Lime Twist ink to create the splatters.

CAS one layer card

Hello there, what a busy week I have had, my sister and her family and my Mum & Dad have been to visit, so my little craft area had to be packed away.  I had a few cards ready to blog but no time to write my post, think I must start to schedule more of my post lol

My card that I am sharing today was created for the challenge over at Less is More and AAA cards, who have a joint challenge  to create a One Layer Card on coloured card base.

I was inspired to create this card by one that I saw on Pintrest which you can see here on Lisa's blog.

I have used the new stamp set Oh So Eclectic from Stampin Up

The card base is Pink Pirouette, and I used Pink Pirouette and Berry Burst ink pads to stamp my flowers.

The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set,  stamped in Berry Burst.

I added some of the fab glitter dots to finish off.

CAS flowers

I have used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set from Stampin Up for my card. I started with a white card base and die cut a circle from the front.  The flowers were stamped in Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party and then fussy cut out. I used Old Olive for the leaves which were also fussy cut before arranging them around the circle.
I used Rich Razzleberry to stamp the sentiment and then added a strip of Old Olive DSP along the bottom

Red, White and Blue

This weeks challenge over at Less is More is Colours of Your Countrys Flag

Happy Birthday

I was inspired by a card on Sarah P blog here and decided to create my own background.
I used stamps from Balloon Celebration stamp set along with tempting turquoise, pumpkin pie, night of navy and Lemon Lime twist ink pads, to create a random pattern on my card stock.
I die cut the front using MFT stitched basic edges.
The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy and I added some enamel shapes to finish off.

I used the left over card stock to create my second card and  die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment, mounted onto a stitched rectangle in Lemon Lime Twist on a card base of Night of Navy, and added some enamel shapes.

I am entering this card into the current challenge over at AAA cards

Lemon Lime Twist

Having had a busy 2 days at work I finally got time to blog a couple of cards I have created.
I wanted to use the new In Colour from Stampin Up, Lemon Lime Twist.  I tried a few combinations and settled on black and then created another one using my extra die cuts using a crumb cake base.

For my first card I created a black card base and added a scolloped rectangle cut using a die from a blueprint set from MFT.  I used the Awesomely Artistic stamp set from Stampin Up along with Lemon Lime Twist and black ink pads. I added some black wink of stella to my butterfly but dosn't show up very well in the photo.
The happy birthday sentiment was stamped in Lemon Lime Twist but I think I should have used black,

I was inspired by the current challenge over at CASology

For my second card used Crumb Cake for my card base, with a black scolloped rectangle and used Crumb Cake and Lemon Lime Twist ink pads.
