Merry Christmas

Its been some time since i blogged but we have had a busy month.  Our site is now closed for the winter, so we are travelling around the UK at the moment visiting friend and family.
We are due to travel out to Spain for the winter on 25th November.
I only have a small selection of crafty goods with me and space is very limited in the motor home, but I wanted to join in the current challenges over at
  Less is More Metallics ,
Allsorts challenge CAS Christmas,

I started with a white card base, and added a die cut silver frame.  The ivy is from the Stampin Up Blended Season stamp set which I coloured with watercolour pens and blended with a brush before  fussy cutting. I created a frame from silver card stock, and used the co coordinating frame lits to cut some leaves from silver card. The sentiment is from the same set.

Merry Christmas

Its been a couple of weeks since I last managed to blog a card, and her I have one of my first Christmas cards.

I was inspired by the current challenge over at Less is More, CASE card see Rebecca's card below.
I loved the layout  and the gorgeous leaves on Rebecca's card so decided to just adjust the design slightly and make a Christmas card. I have used the same die from Bouquet Bunch framelits, and some gold glitter card.  The robin is the bird from Feathers & Frost stamp set and I have coloured it in brown and red pens.  Not sure if it is a robin but I like it.
The sentiment is computer generated, and I added some gold sequins to finish off. A very quick CAS card.

I am also entering this weeks challenge over at the Paper Players Trees and leaves, all Allsorts challenge this week is also trees and leaves

One Layer Floral

Hello, well I have finally managed to get my card blogged.  Last week we had gale force winds here in North Wales and this week, we have some lovely autumnal sunshine.

The challenge over at Less is More is One layer floral

I have used the floral image from Blended Seasons stamp set, coloured with markers.
I have had a go at faux sentiment strips demonstrated by Jennifer McGuire here.
still not any where near as good as Jennifer Mcguire, she does make techniques look so easy, but I am pleased with it for my first attempt.

Hello I am sharing a card that I have made for a new baby.
I used the stamp set A Little Wild from Stampin Up, and the matching think it’s.

The challenge over at Allsorts challenge blog this week is BEARS.

Tranquil Tulips

Hello, I am back again today to share a card I made using a retired stamp set Tranquil Tulips.
I used Pumkin Pie ink pad for the tulips stamping off first for the back of the flowers and old olive for the leaves.  I used a stitched rectangle to create my panel and added a banner sentiment tied with some whisper white twine.

I am adding this card into the current challenge over at CAS on Sunday Flowers

Dandelion wishes

This week I had a delivery of new crafty goodies, so thought I would have a little play with a couple of the sets, Dandelion Wishes and Bokeh Dots.

I used one of the panel stamps from the Bokeh Dots set, and Blackberry Bliss ink to create my background before stamping one of the dandelions in black ink.
I mounted the white panel onto black card base with dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

The current challenge over at Less is More is black & white + one colour.

Birthday Wishes - Less is More

I am loving this sketch over at Less is More so thought I would share another card that I have created for the challenge

I die cut some squares from DSP using the layered square framelits from stampin up and mounted them onto black card stock. I added a sentiment banner to complete

CAS Oh so Eclectic

This weeks challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches is a colour combination.
When I first saw these lovely colours I thought of autumn which is just around the corner.
Whilst looking for my vintage leaves stamp set I picked up Oh so eclectic, this is a set i have not used for a while so thought I would have a play.

My first card is on a white card base, and the image was stamped
in the following order Merry Merlot, Mango Melody and finally Poppy Parade.
I used Merry Merlot for the open flower stamp, before adding a sentiment to the bottom.

This card uses Very Vanilla cardstock, and I die cut my stamped image with a stitched square, and then mounted it onto a slightly larger square of Merry Merlot putting it at a slight angle on the card base.
I use lots of Hello cards whilst working away from home so thought this sentiment would come in handy.

CAS Fruit basket

Good morning from a damp north Wales.  The last few days here have been very misty and damp, we can hardly see the mountains from the office window.  Has we not been doing much outside work I have took the opportunity to do a little crafting.

I have had a little play with the now retired fruit basket stamp and punch set from Stampin Up.
I have combined the current challenge over at the Paper Players  CAS Fruit, and I have used the sketch from the current challenge over at Less is More

The squares were die cut using the Layered squares framelits from Stampin Up from whisper white and lemon lime zest card stock.  I then stamped two pears using Lemon Lime Twist ink and soft suede for the stalks before punching out with the coordinating punch.
I added 3 white pears to the other squares.
The sentiment is from the same set and stamped in soft suede

Forever Friends

Good afternoon, I have a card to share today that I finished last week but have just not had time to take a photo or blog it, and i wanted to enter into the current challenge over at Less is More

I have used a digi image from LOTV and coloured it with copic markers.  This card was made for my husbands birthday from our dog Millie.
It sums up the relationship that they both have, our dog is definitely a mans dog, and she loves to sit next to him whenever she can

Thinking of you

I needed a sympathy card quickly and this is what I came up with.

Its a one layer, using the Petal Pallette stamp set from stampin up and coloured with stampin write markers in old olive and calypso coral.
I scored 2 lines across and added a sentiment from Sheltering Tree set.

Please excuse the terrible picture but I do not have anywhere suitable for taking pictures at the moment.

I am going to enter this into the current less is more challenge

Animal Outing

Its not often that I find time to craft these days, but today I decided to have a play with the Animal Outing Stamp Set from Stampin Up

First up is a new baby card featuring the little giraffe stamp.
I have kept it very simple.
I am entering this card into the current challenge over at

The Paper Players Animal Antics

For the next two cards I have used the hippo stamp from the set.
