Colours of the rainbow

I have been having another play with the eclectic layers dies from stampin up.

I used the large die to die cut the pattern on my stitched rectangle then cut out parts of it using snippets of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet card stock, saving all the little diamond pieces.
After adhering my rectangle to my card front I inlaid a selection of the colours back into the diamond shapes on my white panel.
I stamped the sentiment in Elegant eggplant.  I will have to make some more of these because I have lots of pieces left over.

I was inspired by the current challenges over at

as I have used snippets of coloured card I am entering this card into

I have a few days off from work after tomorrow so going to Oxford to catch up with friends that we worked with last year.  Hopefully back on Friday with another card.

  6. This is fabby Gail - and you have all the rainbow colours too, loads of people tend to omit the very tail end of the colours!

So good to see you playing along. Never worry about being absent - the love in the Playground is just as strong! PS - but do you have an 'excuse me note' - snigger :)
