Less is More

Good evening, hope you have all had a great Easter week end and have managed to get out and enjoy the lovely spring sunshine.

 The current challenge at Less is More,  is to create a CAS card using  predominantly black.

For this card I have used  Fresh Foliage die from Memory Box, and cut it using some embossed black paper that I found in my stash. 

I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out the frame and then adhered it to my ivory card base. I added the foliage die cut and some little black sequin flowers.

Christmas Card Challenge DT

Hi everyone and welcome to another Challenge at Christmas Card Challenge

This week we have a colour challenge using the picture below.

For my card I have used a stamp from LOTV and I used distress inks to colour, adding some glamour dust and gems.

The background paper is from a LOTV paper pad and I have die cut the navy blue strip and bow from a Blueprint die and added a large gem to the centre.

The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

Birthday Wishes

Hello ..........

Hope you are already for Easter tomorrow, and hope you all have a lovely day.  

I normally work Saturday & Sunday but I have tomorrow off, and my husband is also off so we are just having a nice day together at home.  

Anyway onto my card.

This is a card I have made using a digital image from Funky Kits, Live, Laugh, Love, and is available HERE , this image is also available as a rubber stamp.

I have cololured her with my Pro Markers, and flexmarkers, and the current challenge over at Passion For Promarkers is Blue Skies so I decided to keep to a blue theme, I used lots of glamour dust on her wings. as I wanted to keep the card quiet simple I just made a frame with paper from a 8 x 8 paper pad from LOTV Promises, and I used a stitched rectangle die for the cut out.

The sentiment tag is also from LOTV and I just added a little button that was die cut from a Blueprint set, before adding some sequins and pearls.

The frame is raised on some foam pads.

Merry Christmas

Good morning to you all..........

Well we had a lovely day here yesterday, thought spring had arrived! and now we have woken up to a grey and wet morning, hope this isn't the weather for the whole Easter week end.

This weeks challenge over at Merry Monday is to use lime, turquoise and white, and this is the new sketch challenge over at Happy Little Stamper.

I thought I would try to combine both challenges

I started off by dabbing some turquoise ink, and green ink onto my craft mat, I then sprayed with some shimmer spritzing ink in white, and pressed my card onto it, dried with my heat tool and cut to size.

I then added my sentiment which is die cut from white card, added some sequins and gems, mounted the panel onto my card using foam pads.

The colour is not quite what I expected I would have liked a little more blue but I am happy with the finished results.

Hello everyone, today is the start of a new challenge over at MAWT  and we would like

you to create something predominately in your Birthday Colours.

My Birthday is in January which is a Garnet

For my card I created a background on watercolour card using distress inks and then added some Spritzing ink in white, a little red embossing powder and then dried it with my hairdryer.

I created a frame in a red card base with a stitched rectangle die, and then added my background card behind.

The rose is a part of a stamp set from Clearly Besotted that I had free with a magazine.

I stamped the stem and flower onto white card and coloured with Promarkers before fussy cutting them out. I stuck the stem directly onto the card base and used some foam pads for the flower.

I have added some red sequins and clear gems, and the thank you tag is from LOTV.

This morning I have a card to share that I have made for the current challenge at

Penny Black Saturday, which is spring blooms

I have made a frame card using a Penny Black stamp from the critter party transparent set, I love this little cute hedgehog with his posy of flowers.

I have coloured with promarkers and then fussy cut before mounting with foam pads.

The grassy hills are from a die namics die and the sun is a lil inkers die.

I have added some pearls and a little butterfly.

The card base is basil card stock peanut cluster.

For this challenge I have created a bag-a-lope, which is a gift bag created from a large envelope.

I have used an image from our sponsors called Chloe, I have coloured with promarkers and then fussy cut, before mounting onto foam pads.

The paper is a digi from Pink Petticoat, and the flowers are die cut, the little pearls came free with a magazine last year.  I also added a little pearl flourish from Hobby House, along with some tiny pearls to the posy and the flowers in her hair.

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.
