Christmas

Good afternoon .......

My card today is one I have made for this months LOV challenge - Christmas in August!
I need to crack on making some Christmas cards so thought this might spur me on, but it is difficult to think about Christmas when the weather is so sunny.
For the card I have used an image from the LOV new XL art pads, I have added some glamour dust and die cut the image using a blueprint die.
The papers are from Nit Wits called Polar Pals and I have used a mixture of Die namics blueprint dies
for the layout.
Sentiment is from Craftwork cards and the snowflakes are Xcut punches.

Double Decker

Good morning ........ are you all looking forward to a week end of crafting?
I have this week end to my self because hubby is at work both days so I won't feel guilty sitting upstairs crafting all day. (well that's my plan)

The card i have today I have made using a Penny Black rubber stamp called Double Decker, I have previously used this for a male card, but could not resist getting it out again for the current challenge over at Passion for ProMarkers which is transport i just love all the little animals on the bus enjoying a day out!
I have coloured the image with promarkers and flexmarkers and the papers are from Nit Wits, all the card is from Papermill Direct.
The flowers and red border are a mixture of Die namic blueprint die's.

That's it for now will be back later to visit some of your blogs.

Poppy Tilda

hello ........

Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday week end despite the wet weather.  We cut our holiday short coming back yesterday instead of today due to the horrible weather.  We still managed to have a lovely week away with the sun shining on us last week.

Anyway onto my card.
This is the first time I have used a Magnolia stamp and its called Poppy Tilda, which was a recent purchase from Bunny Zoes Craft,  I coloured her with Polychromo pencils whilst away in the caravan,  and then had a problem matching the papers to the colours because the pink dress is on the peachy side.  I found these in my stash which were a freebie from a magazine, they are Nit Wit papers but not sure what they are called,  I  also had a go at colouring some grass, so another first.
For the layout I have used a mixture of die namic blueprint dies and edged everything with distress ink.
The rhinestones are from my stash.

Male Birthday

Good morning............... this is a quick post, we are getting ready for a week away at Sutton on Sea.  Think Millie (the dog) has more stuff than us.

The card I have made for today is a quick CAS male card,  I always struggle with cards for men, and find these toppers from Craft Creations great to make quick cards, no colouring or cutting.
I scored around a piece of white card and then mounted this onto some navy card, the topper was also trimmed and mounted onto navy card.
The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat, and the card is finished!

This is a card that I was asked to make by a friend.  She wanted a CAS wedding card using browns.

I have used an image from LOV and coloured the hair and skin with pro markers.
The embossing folder is by Creative expressions.
The swirls are from a die by Cheery Lynn.
I have added some glamour dust around the veil but it is not showing up in the picture.

Hello!

I can not believe how long it has been since I last posted on my Blog.  I feel so ashamed, but I have had lots going on at home and crafting seemed to have taken a back seat.

Hope you are all well and have been busy with lots of crafting hopefully I will visit your blogs later today.   I have been so busy over the last 2 months, working full time, and trying to keep an eye on my daughter, now back to working just 3 days at last, so should have some time to craft.

We also had our new puppy Millie back at the beginning of  July , and it was such a shock to the system!!  It felt like having a toddler in the house, you needed eyes in the back of your head and we have had to get a stair gate for the kitchen door so that she can not get into the lounge, and barricade across the garden so that she stays on the patio, she is getting better and at least we can take her for walks now to wear her out. This is her when we first had her at 8 weeks old,

We took her to the beach last Saturday and she loved it, this is her after a dip in the sea

I will visit some of your blogs later and also post a quick CAS card I have made.

Love
