Last Christmas my Hubby bought me a set of Distress Markers and after trying them a few times I decided that they were not for me because I just couldn't seem to get the colours and blending right.
Over the last few weeks I decided to have another go, and after watching some on line tutorials I realised the I was using way to much ink, and water! So out came the pens and brushes, lots of stamps and after much practise and frustration I managed to finish an image and made the card below.
I am so pleased that I got them back out and persevered with them.
The image is caroling trio from Penny Black and is one of my favourite Christmas stamps.
The papers are from dove craft , and I have added some hessian and gingham ribbon, I cut the lamp on my cricut machine. I have added lots of glitter, and finished off with a sentiment from LOV.
I am entering this card into the following challenges. The current challenge at Christmas Card Challenge is anything goes with the option of Faith based, I have opted to just make a Christmas card.
