Puppy Love

hello to you all, hope you are well.
Firstly I must appologise for being such a bad blogger lately, time just seem to run away with me and i can hardly believe that it will soon be the first of April, I really don't know where this year is going!!

Anyway onto my card.
I have used a cute little stamp from Penny Black's cool chicks set, and stamped straight onto my card base, I coloured this last week when we were away in the caravan so used my pencils for a change.
(i don't take promarkers because they take up to much room)

I wanted to keep it very CAS so just added some little paw prints and then added a black line with a fine markers.

the current challenge at Addicted to CAS is CUTE, and I think that this card fits the bill.

Christmas Card Challenges DT week 17

Good morning and welcome to another new challenge at

This week is another Anything goes challenge

For this challenge I have made a card using a stamp from the Christmas cuteness set from MFT.
I have coloured santa with pencils which I am not very good with, but I like to use them sometimes for a change, I have added glamour dust, and fussy cut the satnta before using some foam pads to mount onto my card.
The embossing folder is one that I got free with a magazine sometime ago,  I have not added a stamped sentiment because I thought that the embossing words were enough.

Daffodil Delivery

Good evening.........

I have not posted a card for a few days, we decided on Sunday to go away for a few days in the caravan, so we have been at a lovely little site near Stamford, and have managed some lovely walks with the dog over the fields, and are totally relaxed,   We are home on Friday morning because we are both at work over the weekend.

This is another card I made using the digi image, Daffodil Delivery from Di's Digi's.  I used the same papers but put the grey spotted as my base and leftover yellow  as my second paper.

I have coloured the daffodils with promarkers, and the sentiment is a stamp from LOTV.

see you all soon

Christmas Card Challenge 16

I can not believe that it is Sunday already and time for another challenge over at Christmas Card Challenge, the weeks are flying by.

This week the challenge is a nice easy one

I have made a very simple card using a image from Digi Stamp Boutique "Winter Stanley"

I have used stitched square dies, and coloured the image with pencils.  I have added some glamour dust for some sparkle and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

This is an ideal image and design for batch card making, it is really easy to colour.

Do visit the rest of the DT blogs to see what they have created for you.

Moving along with the times DT post

Hello everyone, and welcome to a new challenge over at

This week the challenge is "TAG" your it.

My creation for this challenge is a flower pot card that I made for my mum for Mothers day last Sunday.

I used some cream linen card for the plant pot, and around the top I used a x cut boarder punch.
The flowers are cut from a Crealies Creative flower die and I have added some clear gems to the centre, the pic makes them look different  colours but they are all clear. I added a tag to the front cut from a lill inkers tag die, and then there is another tag that pulls out with a digi sentiment from Pink Petticoat.  I added some yellow ribbon from my stash and also made a little stand for the back (sorry no pic)
The paper is from a 6 x 6 pad that I have had for ages but the front page is missing so I can't tell you what they are called, sorry.  I do think they are still available to buy because I have seen them in the Range near me.

Creative Moments challenge 64

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Moments.

This challenge is for a special lady/mum.

We are sponsored by Di's Digi's

The image that I have used is Daffodil Delivery and is available here

I have coloured with Promarkers, but I have left the little rabbit white adding just a little pink to the ears and cheeks.
The paper is from a digital set available from Pink Petticoat. I have used some Blueprint dies for the layout and the sentiment is from a stamp that I found when having a clear out.

Hope you like my card, and I look forward to seeing what you all create.

Christmas Card Challenge 15

Happy Sunday to you......

It is time for another challenge over at Christmas Card Challenge and this week is the option to use the inspiration photo below.

I had some fun making this card, I made the lovely blue card using distress inks, a sponge, and some embossing powder.
Firstly I sponged a mixture of blue distress inks onto a piece of card until I was happy with the colour, then I went over the whole card with a Versa Mark watermark ink pad then added some transparent embossing powder.  The blue card as a gorgeous shine and glimmer to it that I could not get to show up well in my pics.
I die cut two christmas baubles out of the blue card and then cut again out of my white.  I mounted the white panel onto foam pads before adding the blue baubles.  I had a little bit of card left so I used a snow drift die to cut the top piece.
The sentiment is from a LOTV set and I have stamped it in silver.

Good evening...........

For my card I sponged some card with distress inks in yellows and pink to create the lovely orange colour, then die cut a circle using a stitched circle die.
The grass stamp and birds are from inkylicious and i have used a brown ink pad.
The sentiment is one that I got free in a magazine recently.

I have been inspired by the current challenge over at

Flowers

Hello again...

I know you don't see me for days and then I post twice in one day!!

I just thought that I would share with you a card I made using some free stamps from a magazine.
It is not very often that I buy magazines let alone use the stamps, but when I say these flowers in a recent copy of Papercraft essentials I thought I would treat myself.

I have stamped them onto white card and added a pearl to the centre and some sequins, the sentiment is from the set and I added a little bit of button twine for a bow.
I mounted the white onto some green card.

Got to rush now because I am of to the theatre to see Adrian Mole.

will be back tomorrow to visit you all.

Ooopsie Daisy

Good afternoon all.........

I have not left the country!!!  Sorry I have not posted much over the last week or so but family life sometimes take over.
I have managed to create some DT cards which you will see in a few days, and although I have made some cards I just haven't got round to photographing them and posting.

Whilst I was having my great clear out last week I came across this little stamp from Little Claire Designs, I remember buying it a few years ago at a craft fair and then it just never got used, I thought it would be perfect for the sketch challenge at Happy Little Stampers. I have coloured the image with promarkers and the sentiment is from Digi Stamp Boutique, i am always forgetting peoples birthdays so thought this sentiment would come in handy.

This is the sketch I followed

Here is my card

Christmas Card Challenge 14

Good morning and welcome to another challenge at Christmas Card Challenges

This week the option is to use only a sentiment, no images.  I did have a bit of a struggle with this one, and I hope you like what I have created for your inspiration.

I have used some white linen card from papermill direct for the base and frame, the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and I have added some snowflake die cut.  The gems in the centre are from my stash.  They are both the same colour but I think it is how the light catches it makes them look different.

please visit the rest of the DT to see what gorgeous creations they have come up with to inspire you.

Bentley

Hello..........

Sorry that I have not been to visit many of you over the last week.

On Monday I decided to tidy up my craft room!! no easy task.
What started out as a simple tidy up ended up with a complete move around, but at least I appear to have more room.  I was very ruthless when I was sorting out some of my boxes, and then to add to things my printer decided to stop working, and was printing the most awful colour papers, think that the bit that mixes the colours together had gone,  I have had it some time.

I have a quick card to share with you using Bentley from Digi stamp Boutique
I have coloured with promarkers adding just a touch of grey to the bunny.
The papers are from Nit Wits, always and forever collection,  the sentiment is one that I found in my stash.

Christmas Card Challenge 13

Welcome to another challenge at Christmas Card Challenges

Can you believe it is the 1st March already, where have the last 2 months gone!
If you have been playing along with our challenges over the last 2 months you should be getting a nice little stash of cards ready for this years festive season, if not then it's not to late to start and the DT have some wonderful inspiration for you all

This week is a colour challenge Winter Hues, and I had not hesitation in using the lovely reds.

For my card I have used a very old stamp from Forever Friends, and don't know what it is called because there is nothing on the stamp.
I have coloured it with my promarkers, adding some white dots with a gel pen, I have of course added the normal glamour dust around the bears feet.  The sentiment tag is from LOTV, and the polka dot button and twine is from the Ribbon Girl.
