Happy Birthday Wishes

The new challenge over at Addicted to CAS is blue,

For my card I have used Pacific Point, and Tempting Turquoise inks and the Grunge stamp set along with some Petite Petals stamps and punch.
I added some gems to the centre of my flowers and the sentiment is from Petite Pairs stamp set.
I have never been very good at getting my sentiments in the right place and level, and I hate having to stamp a sentiment onto a finshed card in case I ruin it.
One of my favourite products from Stampin Up is a Stamp-a-ma-jig this allows you to place your sentiment or any other stamp exactly where you want it. !

Christmas Card Challenge 39

Happy Sunday to you all........Hope you are having a fab bank holiday weekend

Its time for a new challenge at

Christmas Card Challenge

This week we have an anything goes so come on get your christmas stash out and start making those cards.

I have made a card using White Christmas stamp set from 'Stampin Up' I love this set you get the main tree image and then some little stamps like this car and the tree, a snowman polar bear and lots more, so each card can be different.

I stamped onto whisper white card and then sponged some ink over the top bit before stamping my trees in memento black ink.  The set also includes a snow stamp which I used randomly over the card.  I adhered my panel onto a card base in Pool Party cardstock.I stamped the car and tree onto whisper white and coloured with my promarkers before cutting out, and popping onto my card with some dimensionals.

If you would like to purchase any of the Stampin Up products used you can click on the catalogue logo on my sidebar and choose me as your demonstrator or drop me an email and I will order for you.

The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers Mixed Christmas Sentiments
and are available HERE
There will be some more new stamps released in September and also a blog hop with some fab prizes so keep checking for the date.

Sprinkles of Life

Hello......

I have two cards to share made using Sprinkles of Life from Stampin Up.
My inspiration for the first card came from some icecream that we had last night!
We had some neopolitan and when I got the tub out of the freezer I commented on how lovely the colours looked together.  So later in my craft room I dug out some card
Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla,  I created my card base from Soft Suede and then added a panel of Very Vanilla.  I stamped the ice cream in Soft Suede ink onto the three colours before using the co ordinating punch to punch out.
I used a sentiment from the same set and stamped in soft suede.

For my second card I used the same colour combination but used the Less is More sketch for my layout

I added a little pink pirouette card above the very vanilla, and stamped my cupcake topper in pink pirouette ink before adding some sprinkles in soft suede.
The sentiment is from the same set stamped in soft suede.

Christmas Card Challenge 38

Good Morning........

Welcome to a new challenge over at Christmas Card Challenge.

This week is a ncie and easy Anything Goes

I was inspired by the current sketch challenge over at Less is More for my card.
I have used a white card base with some Real Red and Mossy Meadow card stock and teamed it up with some Christmas DSP all from Stampin Up.
I added a little ric rac border in Mossy Meadow card, with a bit of glamour dust across the top (not a christmas card without glamour dust!)
The sentiment is also in Mossy Meadow, but i could not get it to show up to well in any picture that I took.
I added a few sequins for decoration.

Do pop of to the Christmas Card Challenges blog and see what the rest of the DT have created, you have a week to link up your creations.

Congratulations

I used brushos again to make my panel but just used a small amount of the black, and you get such a awesome range of colours from just a few sprinkles.
I used a stitched rectangle die for my panel and the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted, I tried to create a bit of a shadow around the sentiment but not sure about it!!
I created the stars from a Stampin Up punch and a snippet of glitter card.

hello

Hello......

I have a card to share today that I made following a technique by Jennifer McGuire which you can find HERE

I first cut a panel of white linen card to fit my card base and then masked off to create the rectangle in the middle, I used distress inks Peacock feathers and Salty Ocean to colour the panel and then used Perfect Pearls over the top of the ink to create my shimmer. I then put the panel through my big shot with a swiss dot embossing folder.

The hello is from a Stampin Up Hello You set, and the small flowers are from a Stampin Up punch details below post

Butterfly

I have a card to share today that I made using my Brushos again to create a background.

I placed some blobs of water onto my card added the 3 colours of brusho and then used a drinking straw to blow the colours over the card.  I wanted to leave some white space.
I cut a stitched rectangle from the panel and then stamped my butterfly in Stazon ink.
I then made a little paint with my brushos and coloured the butterfly, when it was dry I covered it with some wink of stella.
The sentiment is from stampin up, and inked in stazon ink.
