Happy Birthday

I have been playing with my brusho's again.........I love how each time you use them you get a different piece of card.  My husband bought me a piece of wax table cloth so now I just take all my paints downstairs use the dinner table, so have lots of room to play and can just wipe up my mess when I have finished!!

For my first card I used a background stamp from 'You've Got This' stamp set from Stampin Up and stamped using Salty Ocean distress ink, I cut the base of the butterfly from a piece of brusho card (hate cutting this card up) and the main butterfly from a snippet of white card, I make my own card bases so always have lots of little snippets of white card.
I used some rolled glue dots to stick the butterfly to my card base.
The stitched rectangle is from MFT, and I used a sentiment from the Stampin Up set 'Crazy About You'

For this card I used up the last of my blue panel (must make another one!)
I used my stitched rectangle dies and cut one in white and another smaller one in my busho panel.
I used a MFT Happy Birthday die, and just cut Happy from my top panel and then again from some snippets of white before sticking them all together and putting back into the panel.
The little stars are from a sequin set from Lucy's  Folksy shop HERE
The Birthday stamp is from the same set as above.

If you would like to buy any of the Stampin Up products I have used please feel free to email me or visit the website (just click on the catalog on side bar) and select Gail Townsend from the demonstrator list.

  1. Gorgeous Brushos cards Gail. It is really hard to cut them up, but you have two amazing cards from your one panel ... so good on you! :) Love the layered butterfly ... that background stamp is awesome! And love the design of your layered happy die-cut. xx
