merry Christmas

This weeks challenge over at Less is More is sprays/mists, and Addicted to CAS have a challenge Blue.

I created the sky by stamping some pacific point ink onto my acrylic block spritzing with a shimmer paint spray and then quickly putting it onto some watercolour card. I then did the same again but this time used tempting turquoise ink and added next to my previous colour, and then left to dry.

I created my scene using one of the new edgelet dies from stampin up (love these) dies, I think you will be seeing lots of these cards.  I love how this peice of card turned out, it just looks like a night sky and I like how the light comes from the top like a moon. I thought I would keep it very simple and just add the sentimet which is from the Happy Little Stampers Christmas Sentiments, stamped in Pacific Point ink,  these stamps are absolutely lovely to stamp with and I can not wait for the next release of stamps.

  1. This is beautiful Gail and I love the two blues you have used in the sky and with the lighter areas gives a wonderful moonlight effect, then the pretty trees edger die completes the scene perfectly. Thank you so much for becoming a follower. x
