Bloomin Love - My Valentine

CCMC392

I have a card to share using the Bloomin Love stamp and matching dies from Stampin Up.
I have used the colours from the new challenge at Create with Connie and Mary

We used this stamp and die set at my technique class on Tuesday, with Joanne from the Crafty Owl, so thought I would give it a play for this challenge.  This heart die just calls out to be inlaid with another colour and there are so many gorgeous creations on Pinterest for inspiration.

I used Crumb cake for my card base, started off with some Rose Red card stock and die cut the lacy heart.  I then cut a panel of Crumb Cake and die cut the heart again. I inlaid the Rose Red heart into the space and then very slowly pocked out all the little bits from the Crumb Cake heart and adhered them into the Rose Red one (hope this makes sense!!) very slow process. Using some Blushing Bride I die cut some flowers and adhered them onto the heart, added some Rhinestones and stamped the sentiment from the set in Rose Red. I also stamped inside the card

  1. Gail this is so very pretty! That paper-piecing must have taken you ages but it is so worth it - your inlaid heart looks amazing! I love the Blushing Bride flowers and the co-ordinating sentiment too. So glad you enjoyed your class this week and I appreciate the shout-out - thanks for joining us over at Create With Connie and Mary this week!
