Marbling - Happy Birthday

Hello.........

I have a two more cards to share, created using the marbling with shaving foam technique.

I made three or four pieces of card using the same batch of foam and inks.

For this card I used a snippet left over to die cut a butterfly.  I created a white card base, and then die cut my stitched rectangle from a die namics die, and stamped Happy Birthday in Rich Razzleberry ink before mounting onto my card front using dimensional's. I added the butterfly and some enamel dots.

I am entering this card into the Less is more Challenge

this is another card made using a panel of marbling, and I just die cut the flower stem from the panel and then cut again in foam before adding back together.

For some great inspiration and how to videos then visit the CAS mix up challenge blog

  11. What a wonderful marbled background you've created. I would love to try this but only have ink pads, not inks. Something else to add to my stash! I love how beautifully CAS your butterfly card is with all that lovely white space. But your full marbled panel is equally stunning.
    Thanks for sharing with us.

  13. Have only just realised you are back making more cards again Gail after your busy time on the site. I love all your marbling and the colours are gorgeous. You seem to have managed to keep the colours nice and clear. I found when I tried that everything became very muddy very quickly but perhaps I mixed everything too much. These are fabulous! x
