Mid way reminder for Happy Little Stampers

Hi everyone, have you played along with our current challenge?
You still have time to join in this months challenge which is

SPARKLE

Kylie also as a special offer...

Whilst I was away last week I met a lovely lady at the local craft shop who let me have a play with some stencils and Sparkle Medium, I had a great time and purchased a stencil and some Gold shine medium an this is the card that I created.
I used kraft card for my base some white ink on a stencil from Imagination Crafts.  I masked off the deer whilst inking up the trees.  I left the stencil in place and added the Gold Shine over the deer outline, and left to dry.
I then sprinkled some chunky white embossing enamel over the card and heat embossed to create the snow.
I stamped and coloured the bird in red promarkers, and the sentiment is from LOTV

Happy Birthday

I have been playing with my brusho's again.........I love how each time you use them you get a different piece of card.  My husband bought me a piece of wax table cloth so now I just take all my paints downstairs use the dinner table, so have lots of room to play and can just wipe up my mess when I have finished!!

For my first card I used a background stamp from 'You've Got This' stamp set from Stampin Up and stamped using Salty Ocean distress ink, I cut the base of the butterfly from a piece of brusho card (hate cutting this card up) and the main butterfly from a snippet of white card, I make my own card bases so always have lots of little snippets of white card.
I used some rolled glue dots to stick the butterfly to my card base.
The stitched rectangle is from MFT, and I used a sentiment from the Stampin Up set 'Crazy About You'

For this card I used up the last of my blue panel (must make another one!)
I used my stitched rectangle dies and cut one in white and another smaller one in my busho panel.
I used a MFT Happy Birthday die, and just cut Happy from my top panel and then again from some snippets of white before sticking them all together and putting back into the panel.
The little stars are from a sequin set from Lucy's  Folksy shop HERE
The Birthday stamp is from the same set as above.

If you would like to buy any of the Stampin Up products I have used please feel free to email me or visit the website (just click on the catalog on side bar) and select Gail Townsend from the demonstrator list.

Just Sayin'

Hello ............
I am writing this post from sunny Chapel st Leonards on the east cost,  we decided at the last minute to come away for a few days in the caravan. We arrived on Monday and so far the weather as been great and we have had some fab walks on the beach with our dog Millie.

I started this card before we came away for the current challenge at Less is More and had to bring all the bits away with me and finish it here.

I have used some card that I coloured with brushos, I don't like to cut this card as it sometimes seems such a shame to spoil it!! I spend ages just looking at the pieces that I make and then put them to one side, but I thought this piece would be ideal for the current challenge over at Less is More which is Berry Shades.
I used a die that was free with a magazine and cut it 3 times, before sticking 2 straight to the card front and then I raised the middle one with some foam pads.
I drew the string with a black fine liner pen overlapping them slightly and then added a little bow from a snippet of black button twine.
I make most of my own card bases so always have lots of little snippets of white card stock so I used one of these snippets to make the sentiment banner and then stamped using a sentiment from stampin up.

We had some gorgeous creations for our very first challenge, and the winners will be announced on the 10th August, so do check back.

so this month we would love to see some sparkle on your cards.

For my card I have used a die from Wplus9 which I love, this layout is great if you want to make a batch of cards

The stitched rectangle is from die namics stitched rectangle die, and the reindeer i cut from some glitter card added a red gem to his nose.
The sentiment is also from Wplus 9 and I stamped in versamark ink and then heat embossed in silver.

A very quick card to make!!
