Male Birthday card

Hello again, I am back with a card to share that I have made for a male birthday that I have coming up.  I have followed the current sketch over at The Paper players

I created a card base in very vanilla card stock and added some snippets of DSP from the Going Places 6 x 6 pad, and a snippet of crumb cake card stock.  I die cut a stitched circle and added my sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set, before mounting with foam pads.
I decided that the finished card needed a little something and as I
did not bring any twine I had to hunt around and managed to find some black darning wool! which I then added around my card before adding a little cream button that I also found in the drawer.
As I have used some snippets on my card I am also linking up to

Birthday Greetings

I have finally managed to make a card!

We have settled into our new job in Surrey, it is hard work at times, but we have learnt loads, and I can now use the sit on mower, drive a small tractor and trailer to collect bins, and on Sunday I spent the afternoon strimming the grass around the play ground. The first couple of weeks I was so tired at the end of the day I was ready for bed after having tea!  The last thing on my mind was crafting, it was just to much effort to get everything out, and I could only bring limited supplies, due to space in the caravan.
When I saw the current challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches, I was inspired to have a go and make this CAS card.

I made a card base in soft suede, with a panel of very vanilla , I stamped  two images from the Wetlands set from Stampin Up in soft suede ink, I then sponged some pink and blue ink over the images, added the sentiment and card finished. Very CAS!!

Spring Flowers - MAWTT

Hello, and welcome to a new challenge over at MAWTT

It is my turn to host the challenge and I have chosen the theme
Spring Flowers

For my card I have used a stamp from Clearly Besotted, coloured with promarkers and then I used the matching die to cut out, I added some Design paper and a strip of Old Olive Card.  I adhered the daffodils to the card with roam tape and added some old olive twine.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Happy Little Stampers - April Challenge

Hello and welcome to the start of a new challenge at Happy Little Stampers

The challenge for April is Die Cuts/s

For my card I have used some DSP from stampin up and adhered to a white card base, I then die cut a curve in white card using a die from spellbinders. I have also used the Sleigh Ride Edgelits from stampin up, and die cut some glitter card to create my two back layers.
The sentiment is from the Jingle all the way stamp set and i just curved it a little to fit around my curved border.

Update

Hello ...........

This is a little post to explain my absence from blog land.

My Husband and I have just started a new job as Assistant Wardens on a Touring caravan site.  This as involved moving from home for the next 7 months and living in our own touring caravan.
We do have some internet connection but not very good, and in the evenings we are so tired, being out in the fresh air, we have also found muscles that we had forgotten about.
Whilst we get settled in, I will not be posting very often but I have scheduled some DT post and will try to visit your blogs when I can.

Happy Birthday - CAS colours & Sketches

Hello and welcome to my 4th and final card as Guest DT member for March. I have had such fun creating my cards and this last challenge really streatched my imagination!
I would like to thank the DT over at CAS Colours & Sketches for inviting me.  please pop along to the blog and see what the DT have created to inspire you for this challenge.

Now onto my card

To create my card I used stampe set Know what I love from stampin up, just using the first outline flower stamp and then heat embossed, I did the same with the leaves.
I have used Jennifer Mcquires Distress ink lifting technique to create the panel and when it was dry I cut into 5 strips.  I then mounted these onto some white cardstock and then onto some Pacific Point card stock.  I adhered the whole panel to the front of my card and stamped Happy Birthday in Pacific Point.

Hello

I have a one layer card to share made following the theme over at
One Layer Simplicity it seems ages since I had a play in this challenge.

The theme is
 Let Green 'March' In

I am also playing along at Less is More

What's outside your window

the green leaves and shoots are just starting to pop through the soil in our garden

I have used one of my favourite stamp sets Awsomely Artistic from Stampin Up.
I created my panel by first scoring two lines across the front of my card and then masking of the centre.  The larger leaves where stamped in Old Olive, I then used Wild Wasabi for the smaller leaves and Mint Macaron for the grunge pattern.  I stamped my sentiment in Old Olive.
