The images have been coloured with polychromos pencils and mounted onto red shinny card.

Christmas Card Challenge 4

Good morning to you all........

I hope you have all had a good Christmas and that Santa bought you lots of crafting goodies...

Its time for a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenge and this week is nice and easy Anything Goes,

I have decided on a CAS easy card.

For my card I have used Robin Chicklets Digi image from Digi stamp Boutique, this is one of a set of three, and you also get sentiments, although I have used a Pink petticoat sentiment because this was not the card that I had in my mind when I started ! lol
I have coloured the image with Polychromos pencils, and mounted onto some shiny red card, and added the usual Glamour dust around the hat.

Edwin & Hetty

Hello ......

This is a quick post today, hope you are all ready for Santa!!

This is a card that I made for my husband he is not keen on over fussy cards so I tried to keep it simple.

Image is Edwin & Hetty from the Digi Stamp Boutique they have got a sale of 40% off all images until 31st December and they have some fab images.
I have used pro markers to colour and added lots of glitter to the hats
the paper is from Nitwits can not remember which set because it was in my scrap box
both sentiment's are from LOTV and I have die cut scalloped circle.
The stars are from a die namics die and I have heat embossed to make the glitter.

The current challenge at Passion for Promarker's is Bingo and I have used the middle line, Die Cut, free, and glitter.

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas
and
A very Happy New Year.

Monster Christmas

Good evening.......

Today I have actually finished my Christmas shopping, which is perhaps a good job as we are away in Liverpool for the weekend.  We have tickets to see John Bishop, and are staying overnight, my son as volunteered to look after the dog (not sure he knows what he is letting himself in for!) so tomorrow morning we are off.

Onto my card.
I have used Monster Christmas from Digi Stamp Boutique and coloured with prisma pencils, they are so quick to use, I have also added my usual glamour dust, the sentiment comes with the image, and the paper is from Nit Wits snow princess.

Little Fairy

Hello....... hope you are all keeping warm!

This is a quick post today, I am trying to keep and eye on one of my chickens that appears to have cut herself, I have sprayed her with some antiseptic spray, but the others still appear to be pecking at her, not sure what else I can do, so got to nip to the chicken place for some advice.

Anyway onto my card

For my card today I have used another of the adorable images from All Dressed Up, this little fairy is part of the 3 little christmas girls set.  I have coloured her with copics and added lots of glamour dust to her wings.  for my layout I have used a mixture of the blueprint dies from die namics, the snowflake is a punch form X cut that I seem to use on all my cards I just love it. Christmas Card

Hello ......

For my card today I have used another of the pre coloured images from LOV, these were bought last christmas and are no longer available which is such a shame because they are coloured beautifully by Bev Rochester.
I have used an embossilicous folder from crafters companion for the background and die cut 2 pink borders.  The layered snowflake is from a x cut punch.  I have added lots of glamour dust and a sentiment from craftwork cards.

I have used an embossalicious snowflake folder for the background and then cut out using a square die from blueprints 14. The snow is glitter card but it is not showing up to well, and I have used stitched snow drift die.

Christmas Tree

Good morning........

Today see's the start of a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenge

This weeks challenge is Inspiration photo

This is my card.

I cut a triangle out of card, and used a spellbinders circle die to cut out some circles from scraps of patterned paper, then added some red gems.  The stem is just a strip of brown card, and I cut a circle to make the tub.
I have embossed around the edge of the card base.
The Sentiment is from Craftwork Cards, that I have had for ages.

This photo makes the bottom tub look wonky, but it is straight lol

Peace & Joy

Good morning...........

What a wet day yesterday turned out to be, it was so dark that I struggled to get a decent photo of my card so apologies for the awful pic.

The card I am sharing today was made using a free stamp from a magazine last year and a matching spellbinders die that I already had but never used!
I stamped the bauble onto some navy card and then heat embossed with some stampendous  crystal embossing powder.
I wanted to keep my card quiet simple so just added a white square of card scored with 2 squares, mounted it onto navy card and then on to my card base. I added a digi sentiment from Pink Petticoat, used some foam pads to mount the bauble and that's it card finished.

box card

Todays card I have to show you is a box card, sorry but the pictures don't show it very well, not having made one of these for sometime and forgot how easy they are, and thought I would be able to use my new snowy window die from die namics, I cut the snow out of some glitter card.
The image is from an A4 sheet that I bought last Christmas from LOV.  They were pre-coloured and you got a few different size images.  They have all been coloured by the very talented
Bev Rochester, and I just added some glamour dust and gold glitter, unfortunately they do not sell them any more, so I am just using up my stock.
For the window blind I have used tonic studio edge punch, the mulberry paper roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and I have used a holly branch die...I created some snow with embossing powder and glitter, I also added some white twirls from Ribbon Girl, I opened them out and then re wound them to make them a little smaller, I have also added some red berries between the roses also from the ribbon girl.  The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

Caroling Trio

Last Christmas my Hubby bought me a set of Distress Markers and after trying them a few times I decided that they were not for me because I just couldn't seem to get the colours and blending right.
Over the last few weeks I decided to have another go, and after watching some on line tutorials I realised the I was using way to much ink, and water! So out came the pens and brushes, lots of stamps and after much practise and frustration I managed to finish an image and made the card below.
I am so pleased that I got them back out and persevered with them.

The image is caroling trio from Penny Black and is one of my favourite Christmas stamps.
The papers are from dove craft , and I have added some hessian and gingham ribbon, I cut the lamp on my cricut machine. I have added lots of glitter, and finished off with a sentiment from LOV.

I am entering this card into the following challenges.  The current challenge at Christmas Card Challenge is anything goes with the option of Faith based, I have opted to just make a Christmas card.
