Happy Valentines Day

Hi...

It is just starting to snow here, hopefully just a shower because I have to drive over to my mum's later as it is her birthday today.

Some good news think that my internet problem is sorted (even though sky say nothing wrong) since I reported it and they tested the line it as not cut out, so fingers crossed.

This is a card that I made for the current In The Pink challenge Pink and Pearle.
I have used an old image called coco from Digi Stamp Boutique and coloured him with inktense pencils, isn't he just so cute.
I made a frame from some pink shimmer card, and cut out two hearts from a sizzix nesting hearts die.
The Sentiment is from Pink Petticoat, and the pink pearls from my stash.

Watercolouring

Good evening......

This is a card I made using a saturated watercolouring technique from here
I used my distress ink pads, it is a little messy but well worth the effort.
I originally planned to add some white die cut flowers but then found this digi image from Digi Stamp Boutique and printed it onto my card,  I then added some pearls before mounting onto black card.
The sentiment is from LOTV.

I have rushed this post because I want to make the deadline for the Watercolouring challenge over at

Garden Life

hello ..........

Hope you are not snowed in, we have been very lucky here with only a few flurries.
I am sorry that I have not visited you this week but I have had problems with my internet keep cutting out.  I have reported this to Sky and they originally said that I had interference on the line, now they have decided that there is nothing wrong with it!!  I have to keep waiting for it to reconnect and it is so frustrating, particularly when in the middle of something!

Anyway enough moaning, and onto my card. This weeks challenge at Passion for Promarkers is Garden Life and I thought these little stamps from Penny Black would be ideal
I cut out the frame and then stamped the little creatures onto the circles, before colouring them with pro markers and flex markers I then mounted them onto pink cardstock.
The embossing folder is from Crafter's Companion and the ribbon is from my stash.

Millie

I thought I would share with you all today some pictures of out 9 month old Cockerpoo, she is a cross between a Red working Cocker Spaniel and a Honey Poodle, she doesn't have the tight curly coat of the poodle but a wavy coat like a spaniel.

she is such a bundle of fun and full of excitement,  she loves to meet new people and dogs!! and will wag her whole back end when she is out walking, she as those lovely big melt your heart eyes!!!!!!

This is millie at 8 weeks old when we first bought her home,

a bit picture heavy!!

It is very difficult to get a good picture because she doesn't like having her picture taken,

with her favourite person, my husband kev

Millie's favourite spot is in the conservatory on the back of the settee when the sun is out,

Baby Girl

Good evening......

This is a quick post to show you a card that I have made using one of the little elephant cuties
from Pink Petticoat.  These images come on A4 sheet and you get images with sentiments and also without.

I have coloured the elephant with promakers, and I added a little bit of glamour dust.
The button twine is from Ribbon Girl and the button is a die cut.  I used the blue print 20 die set (my favourite) so quick and easy.

Gentian flowers

Hello to you all, hope you are managing to keep warm in this freezing weather.  It has been very overcast today and I have expected it to snow but we are fine so far!

For my card today I have used a digi image from Just inklined available here
The flowers are gentian and I had to look up on google to see what colours they came in, and they are all varying shades of this lovely blue.  I have coloured them with promarkers and pencils, and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

Playtime

Afternoon ..

This weeks challenge at Passion for Promarkers is Teddy bears, so I decided to get out this stamp from Penny Black.  This was the very first stamp that I bought, I saw it on a display at a craft fair and just fell in love, these little bears are so cute.

I have coloured the bears with pomarkers and also added a touch of Polychromo pencils
The layout for my card is a the blueprint 20 die which arrived last week end and I just love it, perhaps it is now my favourite so easy to create CAS cards.
the ribbon, bow and card are all from my stash.

Let's celebrate

Hello .....

I must firstly appologise for my absence from blog land.
We decided to go away in the caravan for a week to relax after the Christmas and New Year, we ended up in Bridlington, and had a lovely week with lots of walks along the beach with Millie (dog), and the weather was very kind to use.

I did put the week to use crafting wise..........my lovely hubby bought me some Inktense Pencils for Christmas,  I had a little try at Christmas but just could not get the hang of them so I was going to put them away and stick to my distress inks and promarkers, but decided to have another go took them away with me to practice, I still need lots of practice especially with skin/faces, but I am now a little bit happier using them, and will keep practising!

What colours does everyone else use for skin tones?

This is an image that I have coloured with Inktense Pencils

I have used a penny black stamp from Critter Party transparent set, and I am ashamed to say that I have had these stamps for over a year and not used them, I know I should be ashamed......
I just love these little mice, and was relatively happy with my colouring, I decided to keep the card CAS so I did not divert away from the image.
I used a stitched square from die namics and the background is an  A4 Embossalicious folder die cut with a stitched square from a blueprint die set.
The sentiment is a stamp from LOTV

I will be back later to catch up on some blog visits.

Christmas Card Challenge - 6

Good Morning

It's Sunday morning again and time for a new challenge at Christmas Card Challenge.
This week the option is to CASE an older card from the current DT.

I have chosen a CAS card by Jessica, I just love the simplicity of this card.

I have die cut the stag from red mirror card and mounted onto base using foam pads, I am not very good at heat embossing sentiments as I tend to get the powder on the card so I have printed my sentiment on the computer.

Do visit the rest of the DT blogs links are below, we love to receive comments on our cards.

Trimming the tree

Happy new year to you all....

I keep trying to tidy away my christmas crafting stash and whilst sorting out my desk I came across this stamp that I had coloured but not made into a card, I thought it was a shame to waste so I have a card ready for this Christmas lol

The image is Trimming the tree from LOTV and I have coloured it with promarkers and polychromo pencils. The papers and ribbon are from my stash and the layout is a mixture of Die namics blueprint 14 and stitched squares.  I have added some glitter to the hat and tree decorations.

I am entering this card into the Mega Christmas Challenge at Passion for promarkers using the middle line of the bingo grid
