Make a wish

Hi everyone, this is a card that I made for this weeks challenge at Less is More where the theme is to use a TAG,  I made this card at the beginning of the week and I was unsure weather to enter it or not.
I am not happy with the way the card turned out but then thought as I had made it I may as well enter it! lol

I used a stitched tag from lil inkers and edged it with distress ink, the butterfly is actually a die cut which I sponged with distress ink before adding to my tag.  I then stamped the trail using a stamp from inkylicious in distress ink, and added some dots with a glitter pen.  I wanted the trail to sparkle more than it does but I don't think the the picture is very good.
The ribbon is from my stash.

I am also entering this card into the following challenge

Moving along with the times DT

This week the challenge from Team A is a recipe

Add 1 Digi Image to 2 Pattered Papers, Add 3 Embellishments and finally a touch of Glitter. This will make the Perfect card :)

Last Month I was invited as GDT member for April and this is one of the four cards
I created for them.

I have used a gorgeous new digi image from Whimsie Doodles which is available here
I coloured using my promarkers and used some papers from a doodlebug pad sugar shoppe.  I have inked around the edges with some marigold distress ink, the border die is from tonic studio and sentiment from LOTV.
I added 3 enamel dots for the 3 embellishments and added 2 die cut flowers.
I have added some glossy accents to the centre of the flower and then covered it in glitter.

I think I have added all the ingredients to make the perfect card!

Creative Moments DT card

Good morning and welcome to a new challenge at Creative Moments.
If this has scheduled correctly I will be enjoying myself at Sutton on Sea where we are away for a few days, so will only be posting some DT cards unless I can get some decent internet.

This fortnight we have a colour challenge,

The sponsors are Dee Dee's Digi's, I have used Spring Blocks and you can find it HERE
I have used my pencils to colour the image and kept it CAS one layer. I used a fine line pen to draw the box.  The sentiment is also included with the images.

Christmas card challenge 21

This weeks challenge over at Christmas Card Challenge is Anything goes

the card that I have to show you is made using an image from Digi Stamp Boutique, it is part of an A4 sheet, there are 6 images with sentiments and they are already coloured !!
I printed out the A4 sheet and then die cut each image with a stitched square, I added glamour dust to highlight and then added to a square of patterned paper, super quick and easy and I made 6 cards in about 20 mins.
All the papers are from my bits and bobs box so not sure where they are from.

another image.

Hang in there

Good news - My boiler is fixed and I now have hot water! There was a problem with the ignition so a few new parts and good as new.  You don't realise how much you rely on the boiler until you don't have it, I had to boil the kettle this morning for a wash.

Last month I was invited to be Guest DT member for Whimsie Doodles for the month of April, I was asked to make four creations. This is one of the cards that I made, using the digi image hang in there which is available here, I have coloured the image with promarkers and added some light blue distress ink around the image, you can not see it very well in the picture but I added some wink of stella to the ladybug spots.  I created a stitched frame from navy blue cardstock, and raised it up on some foam pads.  The sun is from Lil inkers and the sentiment banner, navy circle and yellow flower are from die namic dies.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Spread your wings

hello again....

I have another card for this weeks Less is More challenge UP UP and AWAY!

For this card I cut a square piece of card with a stitched die from a blueprint set and then cut out my butterfly, for this card i wanted to use the negative cut.
I coloured a piece of card with some blue distress inks and then sprayed with my shimmer spritzing ink, once dry I glued it to my card blank and then added the square of card mounted onto foam pads.
The sentiment is a digi from pink petticoat.

I am also entering this card into the current Uniko Studio Challenge - Things with Wings

carol singing

Hello everyone.....

I had hoped to post this card earlier but my husbands on nights shift this week and I am creeping around the house during the daytime trying to be quiet. So when my friend asked if I fancied going out for some lunch and a visit to the garden centre it seemed rude not to go lol.
When I was going to wash up a few tea cups tonight I found that we had no hot water, and my boiler is flashing some error, so i have to wait in tomorrow for the gas man to come and fix it.

So enough rambling and onto my card.

This weeks challenge over at Merry Monday Christmas Challenge is to use a dog or cat.  I did have an image in mind to use but time seems to be running away with me this week, so I opted to use this coloured topper from LOTV, unfortunately they are no longer available and I am slowly running out of them. I just love the little doggie singing away with the carolers.   I added some glamour dust and mounted onto black card. The music I found in my christmas stash and the backing paper is from LOTV as is the ticket sentiment.
The ribbon and lace are from my stash.

Up Up and away

I have a card to share today using a Penny Black stamp from a transparent set.
this months challenge over at Penny Black and more is Birthdays and this week Less is More have a challenge UP UP and Away! So I thought I would combine them both.

On the stamp the balloon is on a shorter string but I wanted it to look like the little hedgehog was floating away so I masked off the balloon before stamping my hedgehog onto some white card, I then masked off the Hedgehog and stamped the balloon, then draw a line in black pen.
I have sponged the background with distress inks (need more practice), and coloured the image with promarkers, I have added some glossy accents to the balloon.
The sentiment is from the same transparent set.

Vintage Christmas

This weeks challenge over at Merry Monday Christmas Challenge is Lets Get Vintage, I have had this card made for a few days and I am not overly happy with it, I think that it needs more embelishments adding but I am not sure what, so as I had made it especially for the challenge I thought I may as well enter!! lol

I have used some Maja Design Vintage Frost papers and the image is from one of the sheets.
I have inked all the edges in Walnut Stain distress ink, I then painted the corner flourish with some plum acrylic paint, and when dry went over with some distress ink.
I have coloured the ribbon with a promarker pen.

Hope you all have a lovely day, I am off to work now.

Christmas Card Challenges

Good morning and welcome to another new challenge at the Christmas Card Challenges

This week we have an inspiration photo for you.

When I saw the photo I knew that I would use this stamp from Molly Bloom, I just love those little ginger bread men!  I have used another Molly Bloom stamp to create the stitched effect around the edges.  I have distressed all the edges using Walnut Stain distress ink.
The sentiment is also from Molly Bloom, and I added a red button and a snippet of twine.

Splatters

This will be a very quick post because I want to enter this card into the challenge over at
Less is More, this week the challenge was a one layer card adding splatters!

I have made a few attempts over the week but never seemed to get it right, so I decided just to use a sentiment stamp, and some splatters

The Sentiment is from Penny Black and I stamped onto a white card base, I then added some splatters of colour using a water colour brush and distress inks. I finished off with some sequins.

I am not sure if I should have stamped the sentiment last because it doesn't stand out to well, but I am happy with the end result. I am also unsure if I have left enough white space for it to be CAS!

Moving along with the Times DT post

Hello and welcome to another new challenge from team A

This week Kelly is in charge and she would like you to create

I use papers from Nit Wits, and the rosette and sentiment are from a digi stamp boutique fathers day set as is the tie.
I added some little pearls for the buttons.

super quick and easy.

I look forward to seeing what you all create for this challenge.

After the rain

Hello everyone.........

I recently sorted out some of my craft stash and came across this little cutie stamp.
The stamp is from the S.W.A.L.K. collection from Crafters Companion and this one is called:

After The Rain.

I have a friend who is going through a rough patch at the moment so I thought that this stamp and sentiments would be ideal just to remind her that I am thinking about her.

I have coloured the image with promakers and pencils and the papers are from an old docrafts pad that I also found in my stash!! (reminder to self to use up papers)
the sentiment comes with the stamp and I have added some pearls and sequins.

I have also decorated the inside of the card to match the front, the sentiment was included in the set but it was curved the wrong way, so I created a new sentiment on the computer.
I have added a little sunshine die from lil inkers.

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenge

Creative Moments Challenge 66

and our sponsor for this challenge is

RSD - http://www.zibbet.com/Rick1949

the image I have used is available HERE

I chose to make an Easter card, I know its a little late, but I have used some nice spring colours.
I have coloured the image with my pencils, and tried to keep the rabbit as white as possible.
The background paper is some scrap from a LOTV pad.
I added a little banner sentiment in a mixture of colours but it doesn't show up to well in my picture.
The layout is from a mixture of Die namic blueprint die's

Christmas Card Challenge 19

Hello...........

It's Sunday again which means that it is time for a new challenge at
Christmas Card Challenges and this week we would like you to create a card with a travel theme.

This is my take on the challenge.  I used distress inks to create the background and then spritzed with some shimmer spray.  I then cut out Santa and his sleigh in black card using my Cricut, I added some wink of stella, but this doesn't show up well in the picture, the background also has a lovely shimmer but you can not see it well either.
The snow drifts are made using my die namics die and I have added some glamour dust.
The sentiment is from LOTV

This is a 5 x 7 card base and I added a rectangle of black and then white card to the centre,
I then used a Impressions Obsessions die called Heart Stems using the remainder of my black embossed paper, I added a little border some ribbon and a sparkly gem.
Hopefully I won't be to late to link up to the challenge.

Back soon

Less is More

Good evening, hope you have all had a great Easter week end and have managed to get out and enjoy the lovely spring sunshine.

The current challenge at Less is More,  is to create a CAS card using  predominantly black.

For this card I have used  Fresh Foliage die from Memory Box, and cut it using some embossed black paper that I found in my stash.
I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out the frame and then adhered it to my ivory card base. I added the foliage die cut and some little black sequin flowers.

Birthday Wishes

Hello ..........

Hope you are already for Easter tomorrow, and hope you all have a lovely day.
I normally work Saturday & Sunday but I have tomorrow off, and my husband is also off so we are just having a nice day together at home.

Anyway onto my card.

This is a card I have made using a digital image from Funky Kits, Live, Laugh, Love, and is available HERE , this image is also available as a rubber stamp.

I have cololured her with my Pro Markers, and flexmarkers, and the current challenge over at Passion For Promarkers is Blue Skies so I decided to keep to a blue theme, I used lots of glamour dust on her wings. as I wanted to keep the card quiet simple I just made a frame with paper from a 8 x 8 paper pad from LOTV Promises, and I used a stitched rectangle die for the cut out.
The sentiment tag is also from LOTV and I just added a little button that was die cut from a Blueprint set, before adding some sequins and pearls.
The frame is raised on some foam pads.

Merry Christmas

Good morning to you all..........
Well we had a lovely day here yesterday, thought spring had arrived! and now we have woken up to a grey and wet morning, hope this isn't the weather for the whole Easter week end.

This weeks challenge over at Merry Monday is to use lime, turquoise and white, and this is the new sketch challenge over at Happy Little Stamper.
I thought I would try to combine both challenges

I started off by dabbing some turquoise ink, and green ink onto my craft mat, I then sprayed with some shimmer spritzing ink in white, and pressed my card onto it, dried with my heat tool and cut to size.
I then added my sentiment which is die cut from white card, added some sequins and gems, mounted the panel onto my card using foam pads.
The colour is not quite what I expected I would have liked a little more blue but I am happy with the finished results.
