Jim Mowing the Lawn

I am back with another Male card, for this card I have used an old digi image from Digi Stamp Boutique which I bought when I first started to make cards a few years ago, I was trying to tidy up my computer and came across it I think it is fab and it reminds me of my dad mowing our lawn at home (he always whistled when he was working in the garden) Now that I have found it I will definitely use it again.

I have coloured the image with Promarkers
The papers are from a pad by Memory box called Minuet I have had in my stash for ages.
The lovely sunshine is from a die namics die and the sentiment is computer generated.

Uniko Studio freebie

The card I have today is the 2nd one I made using the free images from Uniko Studio.

I have used blueprint dies 14 for the layout, and all the card is from Papermill Direct. I have added some gems around the flowers.

Thank You

This weeks challenge over at Allsorts challenge blog is One Layer!  I found this very difficult because I always feel that I should add more layers.  When I made this card I wanted to mount the image onto red card but settled for the ribbon instead.

For the card I used a stamp from Inkylicious called Poppy Lea, I have had this stamp some time but it is ages since I used it.  I stamped onto buff card from Papermill direct and then coloured the poppy's with a red promarker. The seam binding is from my stash and the little tag is from LOV stamp set. I mounted the image onto foam pads and then onto the card blank.

spots and stripes

Good morning to you all.

This months challenge over at Crafty little Fairies is spots and stripes, and as I have a few male birthdays this month I thought I would use the chance to make a male card.

I have use a Digi Stamp Boutique image 'Sports Car Alf'
I have coloured it in promarkers and used Die namics blueprint 14 (again!!) for the layout, I just love this die set.  The papers are one of my favourites from Digi Chick called everyday life they are so versatile and are suitable for both male and female cards.
The sentiment is computer generated and I have used High Tower font, and printed it straight onto the paper.
The stars are from a die namic die.

I am now off to see our new puppy and will hopefully have some pictures to show later today

many thanks for visiting

Hibiscus

Can you believe it 2 post in one day!

The weather here in Leicester is awful it's not stopped raining all day.  I had planned so many little outside jobs today which I have not been able to do, so I spent the day in my craft room.

This is one of the cards that I have made.

The image is Hibiscus and bud from Justinklined digi shop, they have a gorgeous range of flowers and they are all so easy to colour, they have just added some more digi stamps to their freebie section so well worth a visit.
I have coloured the image with Pro markers and them cut around and mounted it using foam pads onto a square piece of card that I have scored using my score board.
The sentiment is computer generated.

Christmas Card

This weeks Challenge over at Winter Wonderland is no Red or Green, so I thought I would use the opportunity to have a good look through all my old Christmas papers.  I found these lovely pinks that I think were from a Do-Crafts paper pad a few winters ago! In fact I seem to have used up lots of crafty stuff that I have had for ages.

The Image is from LOV die cut sheets that they sold about 2 years ago, you got about 8 images of different sizes pre- coloured, but unfortunately they no longer sell them.
The sentiment is also from LOV  A5 clear acrylic christmas sentiments
The snowflake charm and pink ribbon are from my stash.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Thank you for looking

Thinking of You

This months colour inspiration over at Uniko Studio is the lovely bold colour palette below.
The theme is thinking of you.

If you do not have any of the Uniko stamps visit the website where you can get some free digi images including the one that I have used for my card which compliment the current challenge .

For my card I have used the free image Thinking of you. I printed off the whole A4 sheet and cut out this image.  It took me a few attempts because I am not very good at cutting out straight!! and also I could not get the rounded corners to look right.
I have mounted the image onto some Lilac card and cut out the sentiment using a tag die from one of the Blueprint die sets, the flower is also from the same set.
The white and Lilac card is from Papermill Direct.
