Happy Little Stampers Reminder post

Hello .... this is a Mid Month reminder to come and play along in the challenge

I have created a card using a Penny Black stamp.  I washed the background with some smoky grey ink and allowed to dry.  I painted the stamp with Real Red and Old Olive ink spritzed with a small amount of water before stamping my main flower, I then stamped my other 2 flowers without re inking.  I added some gold dots to the centre of my main flower and also some clear wink of stella to the leaves.  The sentiment is from the Happy Little Stampers Mixed Christmas Sentiment set and I used Old Olive, it doesn't seam to show up very well and I wish that I had used some gold embossing powder.

  2. I think this card is really beautiful Gail and I like the wash of grey in the background and the second and third generation stamping gives great perspective, and using the same colour ink for the sentiment keeps everything unified. x
