Painted Petals

I have some exciting news to share..........
Last week I was asked to be the guest DT member for CAS Colours & Sketches challenge blog for the month of March.  I jumped at the chance... This is my first card for the GDT

The Stampin' Up colour names are for reference; however, you may use any companies' products for your cards as long as you match our colours as closely as possible. Lighter and darker shades of the three challenge colours, such as derived from watercoloring an image, are allowed. You may also use white, ivory, kraft, or black for your card base and layers, for image outlines, or for sentiments. However, in order to be considered for our weekly winners, you must not use any other colours.

When I saw these colours I knew that I wanted to use a flower for the Real Red and the darker green for leaves but I was unsure how the Mint Macaron would fit in, until I remembered that I had some DSP in Mint Macaron.
I created a small panel by matting my Mint Macaron DSP onto green card stock and adhering onto my card base.  I then cut a panel from Whisper White and using Painted Petals stamp set, green and red ink I stamped my flowers, I then stamped the 3 circles in Mint Macaron ink these are part of the same stamp set.
The sentiment was stamped in black ink over the flower stems.
