A merry little wish

I have a card to share using my Festival of Trees stampe set and co ordinating punch.

The card base is Very Vanilla and I stamped two trees in Mossy Meadow ink onto a panel of very vanilla, and added some glamour dust for a little sparkle.  I masked off the bottom of the panel and sponged a little crumb cake ink to make some snow drift effect. ( I am not very good with sponging bit heavy handed )and again added some glamour dust.
I then punched a tree from Cherry cobbler cardstock added some gold sequins, and a little gold star that I had left over from a shaker card kit. I then made a little bow from gold twine and added to the bottom of the tree, before mounting onto the panel with foam dots.
I mounted my vanilla panel onto some cherry cobbler and then adhered to my card.

the new challenge over at the paper players is a colour challenge using all of the above colours

Tag Card

I have a card to share today that actually started out as a tag for last months mixed media challenge at Happy Little Stamper, but unfortunately I never got around to blogging and linking it up!!!!!! I decided to make it into a card.

I have used my favourite technique for the background (Paper Smooching with Brusho's) I just love messing around with these great powder paints.

I used the sleigh ride edgelets from stampin up and cut the sleigh from white card and the line of trees from glitter card. I then used a stitched tag die on my brusho card added the trees and then the sleigh with some foam pads.  The star is punched out from glitter card.
I used a sentiment from Happy Little Stampers Mixed Christmas Sentiments set, and then mounted the whole tag onto my card base with some foam pads.
I coloured my ribbon using some brusho powder mixed with water, and then let it dry.

I am adding this to Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge anything goes.

Shaker Card

Yes its me again, I know don't post for ages and now 2 in one day lol

I thought I would have a little break from Christmas Cards, and have a little play with my Happy Little Stampers stamp sets which are available HERE

I decided to make a little shaker card as I love making them!!  I stamped the elephant from Birthday Friends set onto some grey card and then fussy cut out.  I used MFT pierced rectangle frame to create the shaker part and added a little panel of card to the back that I stamped using the little banner stamp from the same set.  The sequins are pink but I think they were catching the light and some look a bit peachy coloured.  I used a balloon die that I had free with a magazine a few months ago and added some silver thread and a little bow.

Love how this turned out and if you visit the shop you can see some more fab cards in the gallery

One layer card

Hello.........

first off I must say I am sorry for beind such a bad blogger recently, I have lots going on at the moment, and I have neglected my crafting and blogging.  I think also when you have had some time away from the craft room it is hard to get back into it.

I have a very quick and simple 1 layer card today.  I masked off a panel on the side and then used my grunge stamp to add some colour using pink pirouette, soft sky and so saffron ink. I then addeed a happy birthday sentiment and some sequins.

Red & Gold

I have a card to share using the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies from 'Stampin Up'.
I made a card base in ivory linen card and  also cut a panel for the front which I die cut a circle in.  I then die cut my ornament in red mirror card, and also a frame to cover the circle. I adhered both the ornament and frame to my panel and added a piece of acetate behind the circle. I used some gold cord to hang my ornaments and adhered to the back of the panel with a glue dot.  I then used Christmas Greeting Thinlits from ' Stampin Up for the merry and cut in red mirror card and funky foam.  I added merry to the front panel and stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink.
To create the shaker part of my card I used some funky foam on the back of my card base added my
Red, Gold & Black sequins before adding the panel.
The challenge over at Merry Monday Christmas Challenge this week is Red & Gold, I think there is enough Gold to count. lol

Mixed Media Christmas Tag

Loll over at stamping with loll is hosting a twelve days of christmas mixed media tag challenge.

Mixed media is not something that I am over confident using but I do love to play with new things, so I thought I would have a go.

I used a Stampin up punch for my tag and sponged in Blckberry Bliss, and Island indigo ink before stampingand one of the tree images from Festival of Trees set in white and added lots of glamour dust, I then tore off some white card for my snow and stamped a sentiment from LOTV in silver ink.

thanks

Hi everyone, I have a card to share using a new technique for me, I have seen so many fantastic cards created using Inka Gold I decided to buy some and have a little play.  I watched some videos and tutorials on you tube and then decided to have a go at this technique from Loll which you can find here

I started off with some mixed media card, distress re inker and some inca gold paste, after following Loll's tutorial this is my result.  I love the panel that I have created and the hardest part was waiting for it to dry.
I used a memory box butterfly die and then rubbed some inca gold paste all over it, and then mounted onto my card base with some foam pads.
The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers Shop ' Thinking of You' set. Which is available HERE

This month the CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers is Gilding so I will be linking my card up to the challenge.

Onto my cards.....  I had 3 of the new stamp sets to play with and this is what I have created for you

My first card uses the Thinking of You set.  I started of by stamping the word stamp onto ivory card using some Melon Mambo ink, and then die cut with a stitched rectangle, the butterfly stamp is from my stash,  (Happy Little Stampers have a fabulous little set of butterflies). I stamped it in Pacific Point ink and then fussy cut out.  I used a blender ben to colour in using Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise ink.  I love the font of this sentiments and think I will be using it lots!! i stamped it in Pacific Point.  I used some foam pads to mount the panel onto my card base.

My next card uses the same Thinking of You set and I have used memento Rich Cocoa ink for all the stamps. I created a little frame using stitched rectangle dies and then popped the little panel up with foam pads.  I added a little butterfly and sentiment all from the same set.

This is the 3rd card using the Thinking of You set, I have again stamped in memento Rich Cocoa I die cut both panels with a stitched rectangle die and mounted the Thanks onto my card with some foam pads.

I have used the Mix Mash set for this card.  I started off with a panel created with brusho's and then randomly stamped the circle stamps all over with some versa mark ink before brushing over some Perfect Pearls to create a bit of Bokeh effect.  The sentiment is from the same set.

For my next two cards I have used the Birthday Friends set.
For the first card I have used the little elephant stamp and added a balloon.  I coloured the image using promarkers and added a sentiment from the Mix Mash set.

I have used the cute little hippo stamp and again coloured with promakers.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I used some Pacific Point ink for the banner and also for under the hippo's feet.

I hope I have inspired you today with my cards. The designers and I have had so much fun playing with these stamps! Next you need to hop on over to
Carol Steadmans blog.
